What is ATOL?

ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's Licence) is a financial protection scheme for package holidays that include flights. It is run by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the UK.

How you are protected

When you book a package holiday with Aarsal Travels Ltd that includes flights, you will receive an ATOL certificate. This confirms that your money is protected and that you will be repatriated if your travel organiser stops trading.

What ATOL covers

• Refunds for money paid if your travel organiser ceases trading before your holiday.
• Repatriation to the UK if your travel organiser ceases trading while you are abroad.
• Protection for flight-inclusive package holidays and some flight-plus arrangements.

What ATOL does not cover

ATOL does not usually cover flights booked directly with airlines, accommodation-only bookings, or travel insurance. Please ask us if you are unsure whether your booking is protected.

Your ATOL certificate

After you book you will receive an ATOL certificate by email. Keep this safe and take it with you when you travel. It contains important information about your protection.
