Travel advice

Practical tips to help you prepare for a smooth, stress-free holiday, plus destination-by-destination guidance on entry requirements, safety, health and getting help abroad.

Passports & visas

Check your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Many destinations require an entry visa or an ESTA/ETA, so apply early and carry printed copies.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation and lost baggage. Buy it as soon as you book so cancellation cover starts immediately.

Baggage & allowances

Most of our packages include 20kg checked luggage and a cabin bag. Always double-check your airline's size and weight limits, especially for low-cost carriers.

Health & vaccinations

Visit your GP or a travel clinic 6–8 weeks before departure for destination-specific vaccines and malaria advice. Carry prescriptions in original packaging with a doctor's note.

Check-in & boarding

Online check-in usually opens 24 hours before departure. Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours early for long-haul flights and 2 hours for short-haul and European trips.

24/7 in-resort support

Our local reps and UK emergency line are available around the clock. Save your booking reference and our contact number before you travel so help is always one call away.

ATOL protection

Every package holiday we sell is ATOL protected. You will receive an ATOL certificate after booking, confirming your financial protection and repatriation rights.
